Mazda NC ECU — NC1 / NC2 / NC3 (Locked, Dealer-Unlocked, In-house Unlocked, Stage1 Ready)
Genuine used ECU units removed from Mazda NC models (NC1 / NC2 / NC3). Each unit is bench-tested for power rails, communication, and checksum integrity before being offered for sale. We supply four options tailored to how you want to proceed:
-
Locked OEM ECU — Sold as-is with factory immobiliser active. This is the cheapest option; the ECU will need vehicle VIN programming/unlock at an authorised Mazda dealer or with verified immobiliser tools. Ideal for workshops that handle dealer unlocks themselves.
-
DMS In-House Unlocked (Partial Immo Off) — We remove the immobiliser requirement in-house (partial immo off) so the ECU will start when installed. This option is perfect for performance builds, donor swaps, or when the original immobiliser key is not available. Note: this disables factory immobiliser checks — see legal/insurance note below.
-
Stage-1 Pre-Flashed (DMS) — ECU is sold In-House Unlocked and flashed with our Stage-1 baseline map (safe, tested gains for common bolt-on modifications). Includes bench verification and a short dyno sanity check. Ready for further fine tuning on your car at DMS TUNED.
All ECUs are cleaned externally, labelled with part and serial numbers, and shipped with a short test report showing voltages and boot logs where applicable.

Legal & practical notes (must-know)
-
Dealer unlock requirement: Locked ECUs require dealer VIN programming or authorised immobiliser tools. We can organise dealer unlocks for an extra fee.
-
Partial Immo Off: Disabling immobiliser may affect vehicle security and insurance. Check local laws and insurance policy. DMS is not responsible for compliance.
-
Proof of ownership: For dealer unlocks or VIN reprogramming, most dealers require proof of vehicle ownership — have your documents ready.
-
Non-refundable if tampered: Warranty void if ECU case opened/modified by a third party.

FAQ (copy to product page)
Q: Will this ECU work in my NC?
A: Yes if you choose the right generation
Q: What’s the difference between Dealer-Unlocked and DMS In-House Unlocked?
A: Dealer-Unlocked keeps factory immobiliser behaviour and uses VIN matching performed by a dealer. DMS In-House Unlocked disables the immobiliser checks so the ECU will start without the original keys — best for swaps or when keys are missing.
Q: Is Stage-1 safe?
A: Our Stage-1 is a conservative baseline tuned for commonly used bolt-ons. It’s developed with safe AFR and ignition margins, but final tuning on your car is recommended for maximum safety and performance.
